About the role
A respected legal services organization is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal for a direct hire opportunity in Tampa, FL. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional with strong commercial real estate transactional and financing experience in a law firm environment. The Commercial Real Estate Paralegal will support complex real estate transactions, title and survey matters, due diligence reviews, closings, entity formation, and real estate financing documentation. This opportunity offers the chance to work with sophisticated legal matters in a professional, collaborative environment where organization, accuracy, communication, and proactive client service are highly valued. Candidates who thrive in a supportive legal team setting, enjoy managing detailed transactional work, and are comfortable working independently with attorneys, clients, title companies, and outside parties will be well positioned for success.
Responsibilities:
Support commercial real estate transactional and financing matters from due diligence through closing.
Review title commitments, surveys, due diligence materials, and related real estate documents to identify and help resolve issues.
Prepare and coordinate closing documents, closing binders, closing instruction letters, UCC financing statements, deeds, mortgages, and related transactional documents.
Work with title companies, clients, attorneys, and other parties regarding title commitments, title policies, recordings, and closing requirements.
Conduct official records searches, electronic recordings, and related public records research.
Assist with formation and maintenance of corporations, limited liability companies, and other business entities.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
