About the role
As an Implementation Manager on the AssistRx PMO team, you will serve as the primary owner of client implementations across our specialty pharmacy and hub solutions. This role is both strategic and hands-on—blending strong project execution with a consultative mindset.You’ll work directly with pharmaceutical manufacturers, hub service providers, and internal cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, high-quality implementations that support therapy initiation, prior authorization, patient support programs, and overall patient access.This is a high-visibility, client-facing role where your ability to manage complexity, communicate clearly, and build trust will directly impact client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.What You’ll DoLead end-to-end client implementations of AssistRx SaaS solutions—from kickoff through go-live and stabilizationServe as the primary point of contact for pharmaceutical and specialty pharmacy clients during implementationAct as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through implementation strategy, timelines, risks, and best practicesTranslate complex business, clinical, and operational requirements into clear implementation plans and system configurationsPartner closely with Product Management to balance AssistRx’s product roadmap with client needs and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with Business Analysts to ensure requirements, user stories, workflows, integrations, and test plans accurately reflect client and program needsCoordinate across Engineering, QA, Product, Data, Sales, and Client Services teams to ensure timely and compliant deliveryProactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes, especially in regulated healthcare environmentsOversee project schedules, milestones, effort estimates, and defect prioritizationPrepare and deliver executive-level project updates to internal leadership and client stakeholdersSupport client training, readiness planning, and go-live activitiesEnsure implementations align with healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, data security, audit readiness, etc.)Contribute to PMO best practices, templates, and continuous process improvementRequirementsExperience & Domain Expertise3–5+ years managing client-facing software implementation projects, preferably in healthcare or life sciencesProven experience implementing SaaS or enterprise platforms for external clientsStrong working knowledge of specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical manufacturing, hub services, prior authorization, or patient support programsExperience consulting directly with pharmaceutical or healthcare clientsSolid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Agile project delivery experience preferredPMP certification preferredConsultative & Client SkillsExceptional ability to build credibility and trust with client stakeholdersComfortable leading conversations with both operational users and executive sponsorsStrong requirement-gathering and problem-solving skills in complex, regulated environmentsAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiencesExecution & LeadershipHighly organized with strong attention to detailAble to manage multiple implementations simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentSelf-directed, accountable, and comfortable operating with autonomyStrong presenter with experience delivering status updates and recommendations to senior leadersCollaborative leader who can influence without authorityTechnical & ToolsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Project)Experience with Agile tools and project tracking systemsWhy AssistRxWork on mission-driven technology that improves patient access to therapyPartner with leading pharmaceutical and specialty pharmacy organizationsPlay a key role in delivering solutions that impact patients, providers, and manufacturersJoin a collaborative, fast-growing health-tech organization with room to growBenefitsSupportive, progressive, fast-paced environmentCompetitive pay structureMatching 401(k) with immediate vestingMedical, dental, vision, life, & short-term disability insuranceAssistRx, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
