About the Role: Local Dealership in Wauseon, OH area is looking for an experienced and driven Body Shop Manager to lead our collision repair team. This is your opportunity to take the wheel of a dynamic operation, delivering top-quality repairs while building a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day body shop operations including workflow, scheduling, and production efficiency Manage and mentor collision repair technicians, painters, and support staff Write accurate repair estimates and work directly with insurance adjusters and customers Ensure all repairs meet OEM, I-CAR, and industry quality standards Monitor shop performance metrics including cycle time, CSI scores, and profitability Maintain compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines Order parts, manage vendor relationships, and control shop inventory
Requirements: Proven experience as a Body Shop Manager or Senior Estimator in an automotive collision center Strong knowledge of collision repair processes, estimating, and refinishing Proficiency with estimating software such as CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex I-CAR certification or willingness to obtain preferred Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive shop profitability Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
