QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalentWillingness to learn about and ensure student safetyAble to lift 50 lbsPunctualConsistently reports to workCompleted required trainings before interacting with studentsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Supervises students and work with a wide range of various needs, including physical, behavior and socialExamples: Ensures students follow bus safety guidelines before, during and after transportGuides each student toward making appropriate choices and accepting responsibility for their own behaviorAlerts the bus driver and transportation director to any problem or special information regarding an individual studentConsistent reporting to work, adhering to scheduled shift times and notifying the transportation director of any absences or lateness A successful candidate will: Be student-focused, team-oriented and have a strong desire to actively engage with studentsHolds a humble philosophy that doing whatever it takes to help students be successful is requiredHave effective time management skills and organizational skillsEnjoys kids, working with others and making a positive difference in the lives of childrenMaintains the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information regarding students as is expected of fully licensed teachersADM encourages all interested and qualified candidates to apply.
