In addition to our recent growth in Federal Civilian agencies, we are seeking to expand our capabilities in cloud development and footprint in national-security focused agencies within the Department of Defense and U.S. Intelligence Community.CTEC is seeking a Section 508 Compliance Specialist to join our remote team, with candidates located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.Job Description: Ensures all Social Security Administration learning systems, applications, and content comply with Section 508 accessibility requirements. Conducts accessibility audits, develops remediation plans, provides accessibility guidance to development teams, and maintains compliance documentation while advocating for inclusive design practices.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accessibility, or related field with 5+ years of federal accessibility experienceCertification in accessibility compliance (CPACC, WAS, or equivalent) and knowledge of federal accessibility lawsExpert knowledge of Section 508 standards, WCAG guidelines, and federal accessibility testing methodologiesExperience with federal accessibility evaluation tools, remediation procedures, and compliance documentationUnderstanding of federal procurement accessibility requirements and government accessibility implementation standardsClearance: Must be able to Obtain Public Trust Clearance.Additional Information:The above statements describe the general nature and level of work the individual(s) assigned to this position perform.
