Asks questions when uncertainReviews and understands the production order and any special instructions. Asks for clarification if requiredCommunicates with Material Handlers material requirements to meet production or packaging demandsVerifies the quality of the products will meet or exceed the quality standards of both the customer and Jessup Manufacturing. Able to detect defects in material. Reports defects to Team LeaderCalculates all material usage accurately and neatly and records on work ordersLabels all finished product with accurate part numbers, work order numbers, lot numbers, customer information, and any other information required to efficiently process the product. Label unused raw material for return to warehouseRecognizes existing or potential packaging problems and reports to Team Leader or Production ManagerSuggests process improvements to improve quality, efficiency, safety and communicationMaintains excellent attendance and punctuality according to the JMC employee handbookFollows all safety practices and immediately corrects or reports unsafe conditions.
