About the role
Quality Inspector Lead (ITA)Quick Hire is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector Lead (ITA) to support inspection operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing inspection workflow, supporting quality initiatives, monitoring inspector performance, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and quality standards. The position plays a key role in maintaining product quality, driving continuous improvement, and supporting Project Coordinators through coaching and operational oversight.
Responsibilities include:
Monitor inspection team workflow to ensure compliance with customer-specific quality standards. Evaluate inspector performance and provide feedback to Project quality planning, assembly, and inspection processes. Ensure proper control, documentation, and segregation of non-conforming and scrap with logistics to maintain accurate material flow and inventory control. Perform scrap analysis and reporting. Assist with Layered Process Audits (LPA).Support calibration verification and inspection equipment control. Maintain accurate inspection records in accordance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. Participate in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities. Support document control and continuous improvement in internal quality audits.
Preferred qualifications include:
Technical training in manufacturing or quality systems. QMS, ISO, or AS9102 certification is a plus.
