Process Operations Manager The Process Operations Manager leads the safe, efficient operation of all process-related activities at the client's heap leach gold recovery facility, delivering production targets within cost and operational constraints while providing technical leadership to a team of approximately 62 personnel. Lead and manage day-to-day process department operations including recovery plant, refinery, assay lab, and metallurgical lab functions Drive continuous improvement in metallurgical accounting, short-range metal forecasting, and mass balance reconciliation Standardize and build lab procedures and controls around AA, FA, and LECO methods and assays Oversee installation and integration of flow meters to the pad and connection to the data historian Collaborate cross-functionally with Mine Tech Services, Mine Manager, and Capital Projects Manager to align on site-wide priorities Provide primary technical support and guidance to the General Manager on all process-related activities Develop and manage annual financial operating and capital budgets to meet organizational and strategic expenditure requirements Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a process-related field 10-15 years of experience in mineral processing, chemical engineering, or process engineering Demonstrated hands-on experience with heap leach gold processing operations 5+ years of supervision or team leadership experience in a process-related environment Proven ability to influence organizational direction, drive change through obstacles, and deliver results in complex operational settings Strong working knowledge of MSHA regulations relating to process practices Background in mining engineering with experience operating (not primarily building) process facilities Experience with lab management at any point in career, including assay or metallurgical lab oversight Demonstrated career longevity within the mining or mineral processing industry Familiarity with data historian systems and process automation initiatives
