About the role

Help Cougs 4 Kids coordinate the plans, people, materials, communications, and follow-up behind safe camp experiences for underserved youth and young people. We are seeking a volunteer Camp Coordinator to support remote planning and optional location-based execution for Camp Coug, summer, and day-camp activities.
Responsibilities: Maintain planning calendars, task lists, assignments, contacts, documents, and readiness checklists Coordinate activity, speaker, sports, registration, safety, logistics, family communication, and volunteer workstreams Schedule planning meetings, training, rehearsals, and deadlines Track screening, consent, accessibility, materials, transportation, insurance, and incident readiness Prepare run-of-show, rosters, signs, forms, packets, and handoff documents Maintain accurate partner, volunteer, participant, and vendor records with appropriate access Support post-camp feedback, reconciliations, acknowledgments, and lessons learned Escalate safety, privacy, capacity, or unresolved readiness issues Qualifications: Experience in camps, events, youth programs, project coordination, education, recreation, or nonprofit operations Strong organization, communication, detail, and follow-through Comfort with spreadsheets, project tools, virtual meetings, and shared files Willingness to complete background screening and required training Optional onsite participation is helpful but not required This is a remote, recurring planning role available within the United States.
