Job Description
Who We Are:
At Tech Defenders, we believe every device deserves a second life! We’re a fast-growing, environmentally conscious technology company that partners with schools, businesses, and organizations nationwide to recover, refurbish, and redeploy technology. By giving tech a second chance, we’re helping reduce e-waste and make technology more affordable and accessible.
What You’ll Do:
As a Device Specialist, you’ll be a key part of our mission. You’ll work hands-on with technology by testing, cleaning, and wiping devices; organizing inventory; and performing minor repairs. You’ll also help ensure our warehouse runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. No prior experience is needed — we provide all the training you need to succeed and grow your career in tech!
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented team players who enjoy working with their hands and collaborating with others. You should be able to lift up to 50 lbs., follow safety procedures, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude, curiosity, and teamwork mindset are must-haves. Why You’ll Love Working Here Paid training and opportunities for growth Discounted tech for you, friends, and family Casual dress code and free TD swag Paid time off, holidays, and volunteer hours Fun company culture with events and recognition programs If you’re ready to join a team that’s giving tech a second life — and have fun while doing it — apply today! Tech Defenders is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
