Seeking a Tampa-based phlebotomist with pediatric experience or 1+ year of high-volume active draws (10+ sticks/day), confident with difficult veins and infant collections, and able to maintain a calm, steady demeanor.

On Call: YesResponsibilitiesThe Lab Medical Assistant II is responsible for:
Collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens Referring specimens to outside laboratories Interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests Performance of phlebotomy procedures Performs other duties as assigned ExperienceRequired - 6 months Phlebotomy, Laboratory related; or related field EducationRequired High School or equivalent Or Bachelors related field in lieu of experience CredentialsDriver's License Credential Equivalent Experience Preferred Phlebotomy BayCare offers a competitive total reward package including:
