Confidential Single Family Office | Miami, FL - 5 days a week onsite We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join a sophisticated and highly professional single-family office in Miami. This is a broad, hands-on HR role supporting a dynamic organization and its employees across the full employee lifecycle. The successful candidate will bring 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within a family office, private investment firm, financial services, professional services, or similarly high-touch environment. This position requires exceptional discretion, sound judgment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in an environment where confidentiality and service standards are paramount. Reporting to the Director of HR, the HR Generalist will be approximately 70–80% day-to-day HR operations and 20–30% projects, process improvement, and strategic initiatives. Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations & Employee Support Serve as a trusted resource to employees and managers across day-to-day HR matters. Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, orientation, employee changes, and offboarding. Maintain accurate HR records, documentation, and HRIS data. Support benefits administration, leave management, payroll-related processes, and employee inquiries. Talent Acquisition Manage full-cycle recruiting for designated positions, from intake through offer. Partner with hiring managers to define candidate profiles and recruiting strategies. Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, offers, and pre-employment processes. Support workforce planning and talent pipeline development. Employee Relations & Performance Support managers with employee relations, performance management, coaching, and documentation. Assist with workplace investigations, corrective actions, and policy interpretation as required. Handle highly sensitive employee matters with appropriate discretion and confidentiality. Compliance & Immigration Support compliance with applicable employment laws, policies, and HR best practices. Coordinate immigration matters with employees and external counsel. Assist with audits, employment documentation, policy administration, and compliance reporting. Learning, Development & Employee Experience Coordinate professional development, leadership, compliance, and skills-based training. Support employee engagement, recognition, and feedback initiatives. Help identify opportunities to continually elevate the employee experience. HR Projects, Systems & Reporting Produce workforce reporting and analyze key HR metrics. Support HR technology enhancements, automation, and system administration. Lead or contribute to HR projects, new programs, policies, and process improvements. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, compliance, and employee experience. Qualifications3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience across multiple HR disciplines. Hands-on experience with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and HR operations. Experience within a family office, financial services, private investment, professional services, or other sophisticated corporate environment strongly preferred. Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices. Experience utilizing HRIS platforms and producing HR reporting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously. Exceptional discretion and maturity when handling confidential and sensitive information. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related discipline.
Preferred:
SHRM-CP or PHR certification; experience supporting international employees, immigration matters, HR technology implementations, or HR process improvement initiatives.
