About the role

Foundry Manager The Foundry Manager oversees daily foundry operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while maintaining quality standards. This role leads production teams, manages scheduling, process improvements, and employee development, and works cross-functionally to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 6 years of foundry manufacturing experience Strong leadership and supervisory experience Knowledge of foundry operations, production planning, and safety standards Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing Knowledge of quality systems and production reporting
Key Responsibilities: Lead daily foundry operations, including melting, molding, and heat treatment Manage production schedules, staffing, and workflow to meet production goals Drive process improvements, cost reduction, and productivity initiatives Supervise, train, and develop production employees and supervisors Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Production, and HR to support operations Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions as needed Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards Promote a safe workplace and maintain risk assessments and safe work procedures Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation/holidays, medical flexible spending account, life/disability insurance, wellness program, paid bereavement leave, educational reimbursement program, voluntary insurances, and training programs.
