About the role

Job TitleUnder close supervision, performs a wide variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks in connection with the maintenance of the plating facility.
Job Duties: Works on job duties and assignments as they relate to maintenance, repair, installing, fabricating, adjusting, troubleshooting, and any other maintenance duties as needed. May perform start-up and shut down functions on plant equipment and facilities as required. Workings safely at all times in compliance with OSHA/EPA regulations. Participate in the handling, labeling, containment, and disposal of hazardous waste. Performs other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed.
Educational and Work Experience Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Potential splash exposure near process lines.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in the metal finishing industry is helpful but not required.
  • Detail oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Willingness to work around chemicals using appropriate safety equipment.
  • Essential Functions of the JobAbility to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to alternate standing and sitting for 8 / 12 hours
  • Ability to hear
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions and abide by rules
  • Ability to stoop and bend; use arms and hands
