About the role
The IATSE National Benefit Funds (“Funds”), located in New York City, are looking for an experienced Manager of Delinquencies, Collections and Payroll Audits to join their Finance Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys leading teams, improving processes, and contributing to the financial strength of a large, mission-driven Taft-Hartley benefit fund organization. The position reports directly to the Director of Finance and requires a hybrid schedule, with regular time in the New York City office. In this role, the Manager will lead the delinquency, collections, and payroll audit functions and help ensure that important financial processes are handled accurately, efficiently, and with strong service to participants, employers, leadership, and the Board. The Manager will oversee workflow, staff, financial reporting, billing delinquencies, collections, internal payroll audits, budget preparation, and the development of reports for internal leadership and Board presentations. The Funds include the Pension, Annuity, Health & Welfare, and Vacation Funds and provide essential benefits to approximately 80,000 active entertainment industry members and their eligible dependents, as well as 2,600 retirees and beneficiaries. Collectively, the Funds hold more than $2.2 billion in assets and play an important role in supporting the people who help bring live theatre, film, television, commercials, music videos, and trade shows to life. Established through collective bargaining with entertainment industry employers and employer associations, the Funds are multi-employer, ERISA trust funds. Funding generally comes from contributing employers in industries subject to collective bargaining agreements with the IATSE or IATSE-affiliated local unions. The Funds are governed by Boards of Trustees with equal representation from the IATSE (labor) and employers (management), reflecting a shared commitment to responsibly serving participants and their families.

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
