Tool and Die Technician - Automotive Stamping Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent client in Birmingham, AL is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Technician with a focus on automotive stamping. The ideal candidate will have strong abilities in troubleshooting, stamping operations, and a solid foundation in both electrical and mechanical systems. Tool and Die Technician Job Summary:$30.00 /hourly +2nd and 3rd Shift Available Full Time/Direct Hire

Building or repairing all types, sizes and shapes of tools, dies, fixtures and jigs. Assemble and try out complex tools and dies on manufacturing equipment as required for production Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with stamping equipment and processes. Perform preventive maintenance on dies and stamping equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and implement improvements. Die Technician Job Qualifications: High school Diploma or General Education (GED)Completion of formal apprenticeship program with journeyman card or equivalent to 5+ years' experience Experience with stamping equipment and processes in an automotive manufacturing environment.
