About the role
Job Description:
We're looking for a Director of Business Development to build and eventually own our Nearshore IT Services vertical. We need someone who can walk in with an active network of IT decision-makers and start generating revenue immediately. You'll be selling U.S. companies on a compelling story: highly skilled, cost-effective LATAM technology talent, delivered through a firm that already has the recruiting and delivery infrastructure in place. Why this role is different: This is a ground-floor opportunity to build and potentially lead an entire business vertical. As the Nearshore practice grows, you'll shape the go-to-market strategy, help build out the sales team, establish strategic partnerships, and influence pricing and delivery models. High ownership, high visibility, direct line to executive leadership.
What You'll Do:
- Own the BD strategy for our Nearshore IT Services / LATAM staffing vertical
- Prospect and close new enterprise and mid-market U.S. clients, leveraging your existing network of CIOs, CTOs, IT Procurement, and Vendor Management leaders
- Run full-cycle sales — discovery through negotiation, contracting, and close — including RFPs, RFIs, MSAs, and SOWsPartner with Recruiting and Delivery to shape solutions and ensure a smooth handoff post-sale
- Help build the go-to-market strategy and sales org as the practice scales
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of B2B sales/BD experience in IT staffing, outsourcing, managed services, or technology professional services
- An existing, active book of business or network of enterprise technology buyers you can engage immediately
- Proven track record closing net-new logos
- Nearshore, Offshore, or LATAM sales experience is a strong plus
- Comfort navigating enterprise procurement and willingness to travel for client visits (~2x/year)
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
