Travel: Minimal, anticipated at 0–10%, up to 20%Colorado Network Staffing (CNS) is seeking an experienced Geospatial Analyst (GIS) to support a project team providing geospatial analysis and decision support to Army Materiel Command (AMC) Headquarters and Organic Industrial Base (OIB) installations. This position is ideal for a GIS professional with experience supporting military installations, infrastructure, real property, or federal planning programs who enjoys turning complex geospatial data into actionable information.
What You’ll Do: • Support geospatial analysis, GIS integration, and decision support activities across AMC and OIB installations.• Develop maps, dashboards, spatial analyses, and other geospatial products supporting infrastructure, planning, and investment decisions.• Support Installation Geospatial Information & Services (IGI&S), SDSFIE, GIS governance, and geospatial data quality initiatives.• Integrate GIS information with planning, real property, and facility investment data.• Coordinate with installation personnel, planners, and Army stakeholders to support GIS implementation and modernization initiatives.• Develop clear geospatial visualizations and analytical products for technical and executive audiences.
Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Geospatial Science, Planning, Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.• 5+ years of GIS and geospatial analysis experience.• Experience with Esri ArcGIS products, ArcGIS Online, dashboards, and geospatial data management.• Experience developing maps, spatial analyses, geodatabases, and geospatial visualizations.• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.• Active Secret clearance preferred. Candidates who have held a Secret clearance within the past two years or are able to obtain a Secret clearance may also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications: • GISP certification.• Experience with IGI&S, SDSFIE, AIGP, or Army geospatial programs.• Experience integrating GIS with RPLANS, ASIP, HQIIS, ISR, Power BI, or similar systems.• Experience supporting military planning, real property, infrastructure, or facility investment programs.• Previous Army, DoD, AMC, or federal installation experience.
Work Environment: This is an onsite position in Huntsville, Alabama. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, eight hours per day between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays. Situational telework may be available for extreme weather events or base closures.
