We are seeking an experienced Commercial Interiors Superintendent to lead field operations on interior construction projects across NYC and Long Island. The ideal candidate will have strong experience delivering commercial interiors, office build-outs, retail, hospitality, and/or corporate workplace projects and be comfortable taking full ownership of day-to-day site operations.
Key Responsibilities: Manage field operations from mobilization through closeout. Coordinate subcontractors, trades, deliveries, and site logistics. Maintain schedules, milestones, safety, and quality standards. Review drawings, RFIs, and resolve constructability issues. Coordinate MEPs, drywall, millwork, flooring, ceilings, and finishes. Lead site meetings and communicate with PMs, clients, and design teams. Manage inspections, punch lists, closeout, and turnover.
Qualifications: 5+ years’ Superintendent experience, ideally with an NYC GC.Strong commercial interiors and renovation background. Experience across office, retail, hospitality, healthcare, or high-end interiors. Strong knowledge of sequencing, trade coordination, and construction drawings. Familiarity with NYC logistics, safety, and inspections. OSHA 30 preferred. Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Build, or similar experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
