About the role

Our client is a growing SaaS company that provides data, analytics, and technology solutions to organizations across the United States. Their platform helps customers improve performance, streamline important workflows, and make better decisions through advanced data and analytics. They are looking for a Mid-Market Account Executive to join their growing sales organization. This is a full-cycle, new-business sales role for someone who enjoys hunting, building pipeline, running a consultative sales process, demonstrating software, and closing new customers. You will be expected to generate a meaningful portion of your own pipeline through outbound prospecting while also partnering with the BDR team on additional opportunities. Compensation & Location
Base Salary: $75,000-$100,000
Total Compensation: $150,000-$200,000 Hybrid schedule with the ability to work from a Lakeview, Chicago office at least 2 days per week.
Responsibilities: Build and manage a healthy pipeline of mid-market opportunities. Generate new business through phone, email, social selling, and other outbound prospecting strategies. Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through software demonstrations, proposals, negotiation, and close. Conduct consultative discovery to understand customer challenges, priorities, and desired outcomes. Deliver software demonstrations that connect the platform's capabilities to customer needs. Build relationships with multiple stakeholders and develop champions within prospective accounts. Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, opportunity, and forecasting information within the CRM.Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance metrics. Partner closely with BDRs, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and sales leadership.
Qualifications: 2+ years of successful SaaS sales experience. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Strong experience generating new business through outbound prospecting and self-generated pipeline. Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through close. Experience conducting software demonstrations. Strong consultative selling and discovery skills. Strong pipeline management, organizational, and CRM skills. Self-motivated, competitive, coachable, and comfortable working in an accountable sales environment. Comfortable joining a growing organization where sales processes and best practices are still evolving.
