This is an excellent opportunity for physicians who enjoy low-volume emergency medicine with inpatient responsibilities and a supportive rural practice environment.

Position Highlights:

Ongoing locums coverage
Average of 3 shifts per month per provider
Primarily 24-hour in-house shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 AM)
Occasional 12-hour shifts may be available

Emergency Medicine with inpatient responsibilities
Average 4 ED patients per day
Average 4 inpatients daily (observation, acute, swing bed) Facility Resources: EMR: Together

Imaging, lab, and pharmacy on site
Strong nursing and ancillary support Support Team: 4 Advanced Practice Providers on staff2 RNs covering services1 CNA support Requirements: Board Certified ABEM or FP/IM with recent Emergency Medicine experience
Active Iowa license
Ability to cover requested dates (please specify availability)
Clean malpractice and background history
