About the Role:
As a Cultivation Technician, you'll focus on defoliation, which means quickly and carefully removing leaves from cannabis plants so they get the light and airflow they need to produce top-quality flower. You'll work side by side with your teammates as part of a group, moving through the grow rooms together. What You'll Do:
Defoliate cannabis plants by removing leaves quickly and accurately, following the techniques and standards you are trained on Work side by side with team members as part of a group to complete defoliation across rooms and rows Handle plants carefully to protect stems, branches, and flowers Work from ladders and raised platforms to reach plants at different heights Collect and dispose of removed leaves and plant waste according to company procedures Watch for signs of pests, disease, or plant stress and report concerns to your lead or supervisor Keep tools and work areas clean and follow all sanitation, safety, and compliance procedures Meet daily productivity and quality goals as a team Help with other cultivation tasks as needed Who We're Looking For Quick hands with good attention to detail. You can work fast without damaging the plant. Comfortable with repetitive work. You can find a rhythm and keep your pace and quality steady all shift. A team player. You enjoy working in a group, communicate well, and help your teammates keep things moving. Reliable. You show up on time and have a history of good attendance and longer tenure at past jobs. Active and physically capable. You are comfortable on your feet and moving all day. Experience is a plus, not a must. Farming, gardening, landscaping, greenhouse, nursery, or production work is helpful, but we'll train the right person.
