This position requires a strong field safety professional who can take ownership of site HSEQ compliance, communicate effectively with both field personnel and senior management, and maintain accurate safety documentation.

Required Qualifications: OSHA 510 – Required Valid driver’s license Must be able to pass a 3-year MVR check with no major moving violations Must be able to pass a drug screen Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong safety documentation and recordkeeping capabilities Civil construction and SWPPP experience are HIGHLY preferred.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with B&J Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality requirements and client requirements Conduct daily Safety Tailgate Meetings Maintain required safety documentation, including JHAsDevelop Site-Specific Safety Plans Develop and maintain Emergency Action Plans Conduct accident, injury, and near-miss investigations Perform and document Root Cause Analyses Communicate investigation findings and corrective actions to B&J Senior Management Monitor field activities and identify potential safety and environmental hazards Support ongoing civil/SWPPP compliance Work closely with project leadership, supervisors, contractors, and field personnel to maintain a strong safety culture
Ideal Candidate: We are looking for someone who is comfortable being visible and engaged in the field, can communicate professionally with both craft and management, and is organized enough to manage the documentation and compliance responsibilities of an HSEQ leadership position. Immediate availability is strongly preferred.
