About the role

Does your experience qualify you to be a Sales Director? Are you ready to help SMBs grow via your strategic sales leadership skills? This full-time role serves multiple clients and allows you to significantly impact multiple businesses and lives. Highlights of the Role: Company : salesQB, a leader in fractional sales leadership solutions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) Role Type : Full-time serving up to ten clients a half-day each week Industry Focus : Small to medium-sized businesses, typically B2B, needing experienced sales leadership What You'll Do: Serve as the leader of the sales department on a part-time basis Apply your skill and knowledge to help tighten up their sales process, systems, technology, and team Lead sales initiatives and optimize sales performance of your clients Follow our six-step framework to create a proven and repeatable sales process Provide executive-level guidance tailored to each business's unique needs Remove the headache of managing sales from the business owner Become a trusted advisor to SMBs who desperately need one What We're Looking For: A passion for sales, whether it is leading, coaching, or developing sales teams Proven experience as a high-performing salesperson, business owner, or sales leader Strong background in B2B sales strategy and revenue growth Ability to offer high-level sales insights and strategic planning Why salesQB? Respect: Unlike large corporations, we need experienced, senior sales stars, and we appreciate their value rather than discard them as old and expensive Job you can love: Lead sales transformations that have a lasting effect on each business's trajectory and team Impact: Contribute to companies' growth and empower their teams with your sales expertise Mastermind of Senior Sales Leaders: Join our team of salesQBs committed to the success of small businesses and watch steel sharpen steel This is a hybrid position working in the local market onsite with the client and remotely when you are not needed onsite. Our hiring process is different than what you might be used to. We focus on mutual fit vs. heavy mutual vetting upfront. The old-fashioned interview method assumes that there is a good mutual fit and fast forward to vetting/interviewing. Both parties need more information to decide if there's a fit. Our process will share a great deal of information with you first and let you "opt-in" to the interview process once you see if the job is more than just a paycheck. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
