About the role

Chick-fil-A Leadership Development Program Chick-fil-A Murfreesboro seeks to be a place of restoration, for all people, sandwich by sandwich and smile by smile. Chick-fil-A's founder, Truett Cathy said, "We're not just in the chicken business, we're in the people business." Chick-fil-A Murfreesboro, under the leadership of operator Beau Noblitt, seeks to carry out that mission every day. Beau makes it his mission to make an impact on each and every person that calls Murfreesboro home at some point in their life. Chick-fil-A Murfreesboro is a stewardship centered, growth minded, optimistic, humble, guest obsessed and passionate workplace that makes a substantial difference in their community. Chick-fil-A Murfreesboro is seeking an individual to join the Business Ownership Path of their Leadership Development Program (LDP). This is a very intentional program in which individuals will rotate through critical areas of the restaurant learning all aspects of the business. During each rotation this individual will be receiving vision, coaching, business "scorecard" metrics, problem solving skills, teaching on how to develop others and raise up talent. We are seeking individuals who are self-starters, have a desire to grow, the ability to multitask, and have excellent problem solving skills. Individuals in the LDP will begin as a team member and work his/her way up through several levels of leadership to the Director level before rotating through the different areas of the operation. After mastering all the Director level roles, this individual will eventually become a Junior Partner and then Managing Partner. Once a Managing Partner, individuals in this program can apply to become an owner/operator with Chick-fil-A, apply for the corporate LDP program, or pursue an external path towards business ownership. In the LDP, this individual will be a part of the leadership team, being led and developed by Lori May, the LDP Director, as well as by Beau Noblitt, the Owner/Operator. This will be a super fast-paced environment, standing 10+ hours each day, and working 45+ hours each week. As part of the program, this individual will get to lead others, build relationships with customers and team members, and have the ability to capitalize on their gifts. We are looking for a self-directed servant leader with a teachable heart, growth mindset and hunger to take ownership of many responsibilities!

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
