About the role

We are seeking a Senior Visual Designer with a strong creative or digital agency background to join a growing New York design studio focused on creating digital products and experiences for Fortune 100 clients. This is a hands-on role for a designer with exceptional visual craft, a distinctive design perspective, and experience creating sophisticated digital experiences. You'll help shape the visual direction of enterprise products across industries including financial services, healthcare, retail, and transportation.
Key Responsibilities: Lead visual design across digital products, platforms, and new business pitches. Own typography, color, layout, iconography, illustration, and motion across digital experiences. Establish and maintain visual design systems that balance consistency, creativity, and scalability. Collaborate closely with UX designers, creative directors, strategists, and engineering teams. Develop high-fidelity designs, interactive prototypes, and visual concepts to communicate ideas. Present design concepts and prototypes directly to clients and senior stakeholders. Incorporate accessibility and inclusive design principles throughout the design process. Leverage AI and generative design tools for exploration, prototyping, and production. Participate in creative critiques, mentor junior designers, and contribute to the studio's creative direction.
Required Qualifications: 5+ years of professional digital product or visual design experience. Experience working within a creative, digital, design, or advertising agency is required. Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design, digital products, UI design, and creative execution. Expertise in typography, color, composition, layout, hierarchy, iconography, and visual systems. Experience designing complex digital products, applications, or enterprise platforms. Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, user flows, and design systems. Proficiency in Figma and experience with prototyping tools such as Framer, ProtoPie, or similar. Familiarity with motion design and tools such as After Effects. Experience incorporating AI-powered tools into the creative process. Knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG and inclusive design principles. Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting creative work to clients or senior stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary agency environment.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
