About the role
Quality Inspection & Warehouse Supervisor: We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Quality Inspection and Warehouse Supervisor to join our unique specialty industrial products business. Our operation is highly specialized, and we are looking for someone who understands fasteners, industrial screws, nuts, and related mechanical components and can lead a team by example.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily quality inspection, sorting, and warehouse operations. Lead and support the sorting team while maintaining high standards for quality and productivity. Inspect and identify defects in products such as nuts, bolts, clips, aluminum castings, hot forgings, and other industrial components. Understand the mechanical function of parts and how they should perform. Monitor sorting processes, productivity, and turnaround times. Prepare reports on inspection results, defects, and operational performance. Implement and establish SOPs and assure quality procedures are followed. Conduct audits and identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency. Think independently and make sound decisions when issues fall into a “gray area.”Identify operational inefficiencies, implement practical improvements and maintain continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Strong mechanical, automotive, or hands-on technical background. Experience with fasteners, industrial hardware, mechanical components, or related products preferred. Previous experience in quality, warehouse, manufacturing, sorting, or production supervision/management. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to understand mechanical parts and identify defects. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet. Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead by example. Comfortable working both in an office and in a large warehouse/industrial environment. Looking for a long-term opportunity and willing to take ownership of the operation.
