Office Manager - Mebane, NC

About The Role
Sandvik Coromant is looking for an Office Manager to support the daily operations of our Mebane office. This role is responsible for creating a professional, welcoming, safe, and well-organized office environment for employees, visitors, managers, and key stakeholders.
The Office Manager will coordinate front desk activities, visitor support, office supplies, vendor services, office equipment, pool vehicles, conference room support, office onboarding, administrative tasks, and local office events. This position plays an important role in supporting the employee experience and ensuring the office operates efficiently and in alignment with Sandvik standards and company values.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure an efficient, safe, and welcoming workplace.
Coordinate facilities, office services, supplies, vendors, and workplace resources.
Manage visitor support, employee onboarding activities, and office compliance requirements.
Organize meetings, events, and employee engagement activities that enhance the workplace experience.
Provide administrative and project support to the Sales Management Team and other business stakeholders.
Collaborate with HR, IT, and local leaders to continuously improve office operations and employee experience.
Additional Responsibilities
Ensure all visitors are treated professionally and with courtesy.
Help maintain an office environment that reflects Sandvik standards and the company's core values.
Perform other duties within the area of competence as assigned.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, service-minded, and comfortable supporting a busy office environment. The ideal candidate communicates clearly, works well with a variety of stakeholders, and takes pride in creating a positive and professional workplace experience.
You should have the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with managers, employees, visitors, vendors, service providers, HR, IT, and other internal teams.
Required Competencies
Experienced user of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently while proactively taking on new projects and responsibilities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Experience
At least 3 years of experience in a role providing general office support.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Education
Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
Licenses and Certifications
Valid driver's license required.
Schedule Expectations
This role may require flexibility in schedule at times, including coming in early or staying late when business needs require it. Reasonable notice will be provided whenever possible.
This position will work in our Mebane office 4-5 days per week.
Key Stakeholders
This position will work closely with the SAA Management Team, Sandvik managers, employees, visitors, vendors, service providers, HR, IT, and teams located at the physical site.
