Machinist Standard job description set-up and operate conventional mills and lathe, CNC mills and lathes. Have a working knowledge of machine shop measuring equipment. Able to interpret blueprints, sketches, and electronic work instructions. Work closely with NC programming, engineers, and production control. Basic qualifications experience operating conventional mills and lathes. Experience in operating CNC mills and lathes. Experience using machining measuring equipment.
