As a Security Shift Supervisor, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc. What’s In It For You Site Location: Both Fremont and South Lake Union locations Set schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 4pm-12am (40 hours a week/ full time) Competitive hourly wage of $28.35 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!) A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off (PTO) policy, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities Of a Security Shift Supervisor Supervising and providing day-to-day direction to Security Officers Assisting with training and onboarding officers on site-specific expectations Providing post coverage when operationally necessary Coordinating shift coverage and responding to staffing gaps or call-offs Conducting shift briefings and communicating post expectations Ensuring officers follow post orders, site procedures, and GardaWorld standards Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams Answer questions in person or by phone Write incident reports and communicate security concerns Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property Qualifications For Security Shift Supervisor Must have a valid state driver's license Must have a clean motor vehicle report Must be at least 21 years of age or older. Must have Security Supervisor, Law Enforcement, or Military experience Be authorized to work in the U.S. Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process Exceptional customer service skills Proficient in basic phone & computer skills In the United States, GardaWorld Security remains the only guarding security company to be Certified by Great Place to Work . 26% of our corporate employees started as frontline workers.
