Position Summary:
Extrusion Operators are responsible for the safe operation of plastic extrusion equipment to produce quality product by continual adjustments of gauges that control extruder speed, temperatures, pressures and winder speeds while focusing on safety and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Produce orders to schedule to satisfy customer needs and production requirementsPerform production execution of product labeling and production entryComplete all required quality inspections, testing and documentationPerform routine preventative maintenanceComply with Company standards regarding housekeepingPerform duties of other team members as required during breaks and absencesKnows and adheres to all safety rules and proceduresOther duties as assignedPhysical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking and bendingPushing, pulling, lifting weights over 40 lbsEye/hand coordinationMust be able to work in hot room environment 1-3 years of manufacturing experience as a machine operator with knowledge of process equipment, tooling and procedures in order to set up, operate and maintain equipment work area in a safe, productive manner Basic math, reading, computer and analyticBase Pay: 23.00 per HOUR
