About the role
Affirm is a remote-first company focused on building a clear, predictable pay-over-time experience. We seek a software engineer to design, develop, and launch backend services using Python or Kotlin, with distributed systems knowledge (AWS, Kafka, Flink, Kubernetes).
You will own tasks end-to-end, collaborate with product, design, and analytics, and contribute to on-call efforts. You’ll work across a global engineering team, drive code quality through reviews, and continuously grow your skills
