About the role
We are working with a manufacturing company who is looking for a purchasing coordinator with hands on experience to join their busy team.
Responsibilities:
Create, process, and maintain purchase orders in Net Suite Coordinate purchasing activities from order placement through delivery Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and order status Monitor open purchase orders and follow up on outstanding deliveries Maintain accurate vendor, item, pricing, and purchasing information in Net Suite Review purchasing documentation for accuracy Assist with inventory and material availability tracking Coordinate with operations, warehouse, accounting, and other internal departments Research vendors and obtain pricing/availability when needed Resolve discrepancies involving purchase orders, invoices, quantities, or deliveries Maintain organized purchasing records and documentation Assist the purchasing team with reporting and other administrative responsibilities
Qualifications:
