About the role
- Fill in for or assist on any of our 17 service routes as needed
- Provide prompt, friendly, and effective customer service
- Load and unload delivery trucks with clean and soiled laundry
- Deliver products accurately and on time to customer locations
- Maintain customer satisfaction and professional relationships
- Manage route efficiency while following all safety standards
- Communicate positively with customers, potential customers, and coworkers
- Maintain strong product knowledge (pricing types, colors, sizing, inventory control, availability, and product application)
- Properly load trucks, including organization of invoices, paperwork, bags, and garments
- Maintain account appearance (rails, hanger racks, repair bags, lockers)
- Communicate truck maintenance needs promptly (repairs, preventative maintenance, cleanliness, accidents)
- Drive a commercial motor vehicle for up to 10 hours per day
- Lift up to 60 pounds on a frequent basis
- Maintain hygienically clean standards through proper garment handling
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Clean driving record required
- Valid Iowa Class D Chauffeur's Driver's License required
- Must be 25 years or older 12 years of job-related and/or customer service experience preferred

- Driving to customer accounts (3050 stops per day)
- Unloading clean laundry using carts when possible
- Sorting, collecting, and loading soiled laundry
- Loading clean laundry for next-day routes
- Moving garments along rail systems and loading hanging uniforms
- Sitting: Frequently, while driving and completing paperwork
- Walking: Frequently, during loading/unloading and customer visits
- Bending: Frequently, up to 90 flexion
- Trunk Rotation: Frequently, during loading and sorting
- Squatting/Crouching: Frequently, to handle laundry bags
- Climbing: Frequently, entering/exiting trucks and customer sites
- Reaching: Frequently, up to 70 inches from floor
- Grasping/Pinching/Wrist Turning: Continuously
- Finger Manipulation: Frequently, for tying bags and paperwork
- Pushing/Pulling: Frequently, up to 10 lbs of force
- Lifting/Carrying: Continuously, up to 60 lbs
- Use of Feet: Frequently, for driving and walking throughout the day
