149266 Job DescriptionMadden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a highly skilled CNC Press Brake Operator for our client in Vancouver, WA as a long standing leader in the healthcare equipment manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Trumpf CNC press brake machines to accurately bend and shape sheet metal components according to detailed specifications, requiring a keen attention to detail.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform machine and tooling setups and subsequent first article inspectionsFollow job travelers, engineering drawings, and technical specifications with precisionExecute and document quality control checkpoints throughout the forming processUtilize Trumpf TruBend 7036, 7050, and 5085 CNC Brake Presses, which access a server-stored library of part programsWork independently and collaboratively to meet daily production targets while maintaining precise quality standardsMaintain an organized, clean, and safe workstation in compliance with FDA and ISO manufacturing requirementsIdentify and recommend process improvements for efficiency and quality enhancementProper retrieval and storage of materials and subassemblies to support productionQualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years of CNC Brake Press Operating experience (Trumpf experience preferred) Proficiency with calipers, angle gauges, micrometers, and other measuring devicesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructionsAbility to make computer entries of production quantities and quality checksStrong attention to detail with demonstrated commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work efficiently in a production environment while meeting quality standardsFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work assignmentsContinuous improvement mindsetIf selected, ability to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background checkSchedule Train on DAY shift (M-F 6:30am-3:00pm), then move to SWING shift (M-Th 3pm-1:30am) Starting Pay $22-26/hr DOE (with differential once on Swing shift) Work Environment Clean, modern, climate-controlled facilityState-of-the-art assembly equipment and toolsKnowledgeable, supportive team environmentWork is performed near moving mechanical equipment and forklifts; low noise level environmentOccasional outdoor work may be required (e.g., unloading trucks) across all seasonsBenefits: 401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceExperience: Press brake machine: 2 years (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Night Shift (Required) Ability to Commute: Vancouver, WA 98661 (Required)
