About the role
Lost Coffee - Part-Time Lost Coffee is looking for a part-time Production Assistant to join our roastery team. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to learn more about the production side of specialty coffee. You ll work alongside our roasting team to help keep weekly production moving from bagging and order fulfillment to learning the fundamentals of production roasting. As we continue to grow our wholesale and coffee programs, we re looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable with physical work, and genuinely interested in coffee.
What You'll Do:
Bag, label, seal, and organize roasted coffee Assist with weekly wholesale and retail production Prepare and fulfill coffee orders Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient production space Assist with inventory and production organization Participate in coffee quality control and cuppings Learn our roasting workflow, equipment, and quality standards Train toward assisting with and eventually handling production roasting Help with additional roastery projects as production needs grow
What We're Looking For:
Previous specialty coffee or barista experience preferred Strong attention to detail and consistency Dependable and comfortable working independently Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced production environment Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and being on your feet for extended periods Able to safely lift and move coffee, boxes, and production materials Genuine interest in coffee, roasting, and learning more about the industry Willingness to make a longer-term commitment to the role Schedule This is a part-time position, primarily Monday Wednesday, with the potential for additional hours during larger production weeks.
