About the role
Role:
Associate Director Estimator supporting capital projects within the biopharma industry, focusing on cost estimation, planning, and benchmarking from feasibility to project startup.
Responsibilities:
lead estimating efforts for projects from less than $5MM to over $1B TIC
prepare detailed TIC estimates
validate estimates from internal and external sources
conduct risk analysis
support project benchmarking and cost database maintenance
collaborate on project budgeting and cost control.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field;
10+ years in estimating, project control, or capital management;
strong knowledge of pharma/biotech project types across R&D, drug substance, drug product, and manufacturing;
excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills;
proficiency in MS Office.
Preferred:
AI fluency
experience with Lean methodologies
estimating systems
Monte Carlo risk analysis (@RISK)
strategic planning
