About the role

Driver Position The driver is responsible for transporting finished windows to the customers and helping on the line when available. Essential functions include observance of all safety rules and policies, preparation of finished windows for transportation, delivery of finished windows to customer following approved delivery routes, unloading of finished windows at appropriate destination, coordination of necessary paperwork, receipt and delivery of miscellaneous goods, rotation of position into production team structure, assistance in repair work, maintenance of good housekeeping practices, and working as a part of a team to achieve the company's overall goals. Competencies include clear verbal and written communication skills, ability to read and process written communication, meeting production goals and time deadlines, working with minimum supervision, competency in transportation and over-the-road responsibilities, welding competency and knowledge of systems, ability to operate a Lift Truck or Tractor, successful problem solving skills, tact and diplomacy, ability to work under physically and mentally stressful situations, and ability to prioritize and easily adapt to changes. Qualifications include a Lift Truck Operators License preferred (training available) and a Commercial Drivers License CDL, Class A. This is a full-time position with over the road travel expected throughout the US (Regional) and occasional local deliveries. Must be able to pass EVerify.
