Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40+ hours per week depending on project phase
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex, sustainable, high-end custom residential construction, extensive remodels, and renovation projects across the Boulder area. Must thrive in a high-standard, fast-paced environment, balancing strict quality controls, demanding design specifications, and sophisticated client relationships. Beyond technical excellence, a knowledge of the latest building science and best practices is critical. Key Responsibilities: Project Execution & Site Management: Oversee day-to-day on-site operations for high-end custom builds, ensuring strict adherence to schedules, quality standards, and architectural intent. Financial & Subcontractor Oversight: Responsible for tracking and managing project budget. Process change orders, schedule trade partners, and foster strong collaborative relationships with subcontractors. Safety & Compliance: Follow and enforce OSHA residential job-site safety protocols to maintain a secure, compliant environment. Client & Architect Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact, navigating complex needs and high expectations with clear, proactive, and professional communication. Sustainable Construction: Integrate sustainable building science practices and green building methods into daily field execution.
Key Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Minimum 5 years managing complex custom residential new builds and large-scale renovations. Technical Proficiency: Hands-on expertise in Builder Trend, Fast Track, Microsoft Excel, and Word. Building Science: Strong knowledge of high-performance building assemblies, energy efficiency, and green building techniques. Leadership & Mindset: Solution-oriented with a positive "can-do" attitude, exceptional organization, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to planetary stewardship.
