About the role

We are partnered with a leading quantitative trading firm looking to hire experienced C++ Software Engineers to work on highly performant, latency-sensitive systems supporting its global trading environment. This is a core engineering role for someone who enjoys working close to the system level and solving challenging problems across C++, Linux, networking, CPU performance, and distributed systems. What You’ll Work On: Building and optimizing high-performance C++ systems Developing low-latency market data, execution, and trading infrastructure Profiling and optimizing production code for latency and throughput Designing reliable, fault-tolerant distributed systems Working with Linux, networking, and performance-critical systems Improving system and processor-level performance Building scalable infrastructure supporting technical and research workflows Engineers have significant ownership and work closely with other highly technical teams to design, build, optimize, and troubleshoot production systems. What They’re Looking For 2+ years of professional software engineering experience Strong professional experience with modern C++Strong understanding of computer science and software engineering fundamentals Experience working in Linux/UNIX environments Knowledge of systems performance, networking, concurrency, or distributed systems Strong debugging and problem-solving ability Ability to reason about software at both the architectural and implementation level Interest in performance optimization and technically challenging systems
