Role Overview: We’re seeking an Architectural Drafter/Designer with strong NYC experience to join our seasoned team of designers.
Responsibilities & Duties: Prepares construction documents including plans, details, sections, elevations & schedules. Assists with drawing issuance during the bidding & negotiation phases. Understands the connection between assigned tasks and the overall project, and follows through to ensure consistency. Calls attention to problem areas and offers creative technical solutions or asks questions that may lead to innovative ideas
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 2 years working in a NYC architectural office. Bachelor’s degree in architecture. 4-year BS in architecture may be considered Proficient in Revit (& plug-ins such as Enscape), AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop & 3D computer modeling software. General drafting/picking up redlines • Ability to work independently & in a team, in a fast-paced changing environment. Experience with NYC DOB filing/approvals process, Zoning & Building Codes knowledge is a major plus!
