About the role
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy against packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Unload, label, and store incoming materials in designated locations.
- Notify appropriate personnel of discrepancies or damages.
- Prepare, pack, and label products for shipment according to customer specifications and shipping guidelines.
- Create shipping documentation, including bills of lading and shipping labels.
- Coordinate with carriers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments and receipts in the inventory management system.
- Conduct periodic inventory counts to ensure accuracy and report variances.
- Ensure all outgoing and incoming products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Report and address any non-conformance issues promptly.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Operate company vehicles safely to complete local scheduled pickups and deliveries between company sites, vendors, and customers.

- Strong organizational skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English Language. Spanish is a plus.
- High level of attention to details and numerically oriented.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform under pressure.
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs.
- Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Valid Connecticut driver's license with a clean driving record
- Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Paid Time OffWe're looking for someone with:
- HS Diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years' experience in manufacturing environment
- Minimum 2 year's experience in shipping and receiving-1 to 2 years of experience in local delivery driving, warehouse operations
