World Voices San Diego (WVSD) is looking for enthusiastic, energetic Spanish teachers to join our after-school programs at schools throughout San Diego.✨ Perfect for someone looking for a flexible part-time opportunity and extra income! What the position looks like:• After-school hours — schedules vary by school• Approximately 2–8 hours per week, depending on your availability• Classes are approximately 1 hour• You can teach just a few classes a week or take on more as your schedule allows We’re looking for someone who:• Is a native or highly fluent Spanish speaker• Has experience working with children (preferred)• Is reliable, responsible, and organized• Is energetic, warm, and enthusiastic• Loves to move, act, play, and interact with kids• Can make Spanish feel fun and exciting—not just another class! At WVSD, our students learn Spanish through conversation, games, movement, music, role-play, and hands-on activities. We want teachers who aren’t afraid to be animated, creative, and a little silly when it helps children learn. 😊📍 Classes are offered at different schools throughout San Diego. Qualifications: Ability to provide effective Spanish Teaching and Tutoring that supports learners at varying levels. Strong Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development skills aligned with program standards and learner needs. Demonstrated Teaching experience using engaging, student-centered methods in classroom or small-group settings. Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish; ability to use English clearly for explanations and communication. Strong classroom management, organizational, and time-management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, and colleagues. Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, Linguistics, or a related field preferred; teaching credential or relevant certifications are a plus. Prior experience teaching or tutoring Spanish in school, community, or enrichment programs is highly beneficial.
