The Iron Horse Neighborhood Grill is looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team! This is more than just a "keep the kitchen running" job. We're looking for someone who wants to lead, build a team, improve systems, and take ownership of the kitchen as we expand into our next chapter. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:Leading day-to-day kitchen operations Training, coaching, and developing kitchen staff Maintaining food quality, consistency, and presentation Managing prep, ordering, inventory, and product rotation Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards Managing kitchen labor and food costs Creating a positive, accountable kitchen culture Helping develop specials and seasonal menu items Keeping the kitchen organized, clean, and efficient Working alongside your team during busy services Communicating with the front-of-house team and restaurant management Helping us continue to improve and grow our operationWE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:• Has previous kitchen or restaurant management experience• Knows how to lead a team - not just give orders• Can stay calm when the rush hits• Takes pride in consistency and attention to detail• Understands food safety and kitchen organization• Is dependable and willing to work alongside the team• Can hold people accountable while maintaining a positive environment• Takes ownership and looks for solutions instead of excuses• Wants to be part of a growing local restaurant Strong kitchen professionals who are ready to take the next step into management are encouraged to apply!
