About the role
A leading, stable food/beverage manufacturing organization is looking for a Regional EHS Manager to join their team in the New Jersey/Philadelphia area to oversee 9 locations. This person will have a presence across multiple 24/7 manufacturing locations. No relocation assistance will be provided. There is plenty of long-term stability and upward mobility available for the right long-term candidate. 50% travel requirement (costs covered by employer). Profit-sharing, bonus, and full benefit coverage included.
The Role:
Conduct regular audits, trainings, identify potential hazards, and help improve/maintain existing programs. Lead training programs, actively co-manage worker's compensation claims, and support all accident/near-miss investigations. Champion the safety culture onsite - this is a union environment. Build strong relationships with operational staff and leadership, reporting directly to the EHS Director. The Candidate:5+ years of experience in EHS/HSE/Health and Safety within manufacturing. A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. In lieu, additional certifications are required. Must be located in the Pennsauken/Philadelphia/Virginia area. Personal vehicle required; travel costs will be reimbursed.
