About the role

Seeking a Materials Control Specialist 1 & 2 for a 8-month contract. 2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, oil and gas, or related industrial environments, along with strong organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience with pipe, valves, fittings, and material purchasing would be a plus but is not required for candidates who demonstrate strong potential and a willingness to learn. Competitive pay rate.
Job Description: The primary responsibilities would include: Creating requisitions and receipts in Oracle to support business demand Supporting procure-to-pay activities, including requisitioning, receiving, invoice resolution, bidding support, and general procurement administration Working closely with buyers, engineers, project teams, and suppliers Following procurement policies and procedures Resolving supplier and internal customer inquiries Monitoring order status and delivery requirements Maintaining procurement documentation and records Supporting reporting and other administrative supply chain activities as needed
