Digital MerchandiserThe Digital Merchandiser will support Avon's Digital Team, working across LG Beauty and Avon product lines. The role is responsible for end-to-end product management, catalog setup, onsite merchandising, promotional execution, QA, and performance optimization within the eCommerce platform. This contractor will operate in a fast-paced digital environment and must be able to work PST business hours, even if located on the East Coast.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, upload, and maintain products, variants, pricing, and metadata within the eCommerce platform.Ensure accurate categorization, tagging logic, filters, and product navigation to support optimal discovery.Maintain data cleanliness, including naming conventions, taxonomy, URL structure, and handle consistency.Curate collections, landing pages, and onsite placements to support campaigns, seasonal strategies, and sales initiatives.Optimize PDPs (Product Detail Pages) including titles, feature bullets, SEO copy, images, video, and A+ content.Monitor performance and recommend improvements to increase CTR, ATC, CVR, and AOV.Configure promotional rules, bundles, discount logic, and price overrides based on promotional calendars.Validate promotional accuracy, including stacking rules, exclusions, UX consistency, and price display.Collaborate with Marketing and Planning to align messaging, timing, and inventory availability.Conduct pre- and post-launch QA on all product, promotion, and content updates.Identify and escalate discrepancies including pricing issues, inventory mismatches, broken images, or navigation gaps.Track merchandising performance via dashboards and analytics platforms.Deliver actionable insights and weekly/campaign recommendations to drive improvements.Required Skills & ExperienceMid–Senior level Digital Merchandising experience.Strong experience with Shopify, Shoppedance, and familiarity with GA4, Google Merchant Center, and eCommerce apps/plugins.Understanding of eCommerce merchandising best practices and onsite customer journeys.Knowledge of SEO for eCommerce, including metadata, titles, structured content, and product taxonomy.Comfort working with product feeds, variant structures, discount engines, and collection logic.Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy in operations.Ability to work independently with clear deadlines and deliverables.
