The Young Automotive Group is Growing Again! We are actively hiring Powersports Assembly Technician to join our team at our Powersports XL Build Center! As a Powersports Assembly Technician, you will play an important role in bringing bikes, ATVs, and UTVs to life through new unit assembly, pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), and final preparation for the showroom or customer delivery. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, is mechanically inclined, and has a passion for the powersports industry. Responsibilities:
Uncrate and assemble new motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, and personal watercraft according to manufacturer specifications. Perform thorough pre-delivery inspections to ensure all components are functioning properly and safely. Torque bolts to spec, install batteries, fluids, tires, and accessories as required. Maintain accurate records of completed assemblies and inspections. Troubleshoot and correct basic mechanical or cosmetic issues during the assembly process. Assist with setup for events, showroom floor updates, or customer deliveries. Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols. Communicate with service and sales teams regarding unit readiness, missing parts, or special requests. Occasionally assist with basic repairs, accessory installations, or general service work if needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.1+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, small engine repair, or mechanical experience Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort using hand tools, torque wrenches, and power tools. Ability to read and interpret service manuals and assembly instructions. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.
