Job Description: SpineSearch is partnering with a large medical practice to identify a dedicated, full-time Athletic Trainer to join their orthopedic spine team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon, providing comprehensive patient care and supporting positive clinical outcomes across a diverse patient population.
Position Highlights: Full-time opportunity Work directly alongside an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon Evaluate and independently work up new patients Develop and modify individualized treatment and exercise plans Perform clinical examinations and assessments within scope of practice Assist with in-office procedures Fit and educate patients on prescribed braces Review imaging, labs, and consultation notes prior to appointments Triage clinical questions and communicate results to patients Maintain thorough and compliant clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians and other departments on patient care, scheduling, insurance, and bracing needs
Qualifications: Bachelor’ s degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or a related field Graduation from a CAATE-accredited athletic training program or equivalent Current CPR and AED certification Ability to pass a background check
Preferred: Experience in sports medicine or orthopedics Familiarity with motor vehicle accident, workers’ compensation, and personal injury cases Strong communication, clinical judgment, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Bilingual skills are a plus Location & Travel 📍 Princeton | Lawrenceville | Freehold, NJ This position requires weekly travel between the practice’ s New Jersey locations. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be comfortable working in a multi-site environment.
