This newly created position offers the opportunity to become the central recruiting resource for a growing national platform, partnering directly with executive leadership, firm partners, and external recruiting agencies to attract top accounting and finance talent.This is an ideal opportunity for a recruiter who enjoys both strategy and execution and wants to play a visible role in shaping a growing Talent Acquisition function.Position SummaryThe Talent Acquisition Manager will serve as the primary recruiting partner across a multi-state portfolio of accounting firms. This individual contributor role will oversee multiple concurrent searches, manage agency relationships, coordinate hiring activities, and help build scalable recruiting processes as the organization continues its aggressive growth trajectory.While the title is Talent Acquisition Manager, this is a hands-on recruiting role with no direct reports. The ideal candidate enjoys recruiting, thrives in fast-paced environments, and understands how to successfully recruit accounting professionals from one public accounting firm to another.Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Planning & Workforce StrategyPartner with business leaders to identify current and future hiring needs.Develop recruiting strategies and hiring plans across multiple offices and business units.Support workforce planning initiatives related to acquisitions and business growth.Help leadership anticipate future talent needs as additional firms are integrated into the platform.Full-Cycle RecruitingManage recruiting efforts from intake meeting through offer acceptance and onboarding.Simultaneously oversee 10+ active searches across multiple firms, locations, and service lines.Source, screen, and assess talent for accounting and finance-related positions.Coordinate interviews, candidate feedback, offers, and onboarding activities.Deliver a high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruiting lifecycle.Agency & Vendor ManagementServe as the primary liaison between leadership and external recruiting partners.Allocate searches to recruiting agencies and sourcing partners.Hold agencies accountable for candidate quality, responsiveness, and hiring timelines.Monitor pipeline activity to ensure hiring goals are met efficiently.Reporting & Process ImprovementMaintain recruiting metrics and pipeline reporting.Utilize ATS and sourcing platforms to track activity and hiring outcomes.Identify opportunities to improve recruiting workflows, consistency, and efficiency.Support onboarding, retention initiatives, compensation benchmarking, and talent planning efforts.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's Degree required.4-7+ years of Talent Acquisition or Recruiting experience.Direct experience recruiting within the public accounting industry.Strong understanding of Tax, Audit, CPA, Client Accounting, and related accounting talent.Experience managing multiple concurrent searches across various offices, departments, or business units.Proven success managing external staffing and recruiting agency relationships.Strong communication skills and ability to interact directly with Partners, executives, and senior leadership.Demonstrated recruiting process discipline, organization, and project management capabilities.Stable career progression and strong tenure history.PreferredExperience supporting highly acquisitive or private equity-backed organizations.Experience recruiting across multiple offices, regions, or acquired entities.Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, and sourcing technologies.
